Where these numbers come from

The lookup uses mcsrvstat.us, a free public status API. Your browser queries it directly, so afkclient.pro never sees or logs what you check.

Java answers a standard server list ping on port 25565; Bedrock replies to a RakNet ping on 19132. Both return online status, player count, version, MOTD, and the server icon if it has one.

Seeing "offline" for a server you can actually join? Some hosts block the public ping but still accept normal logins. In that case, point afkclient.pro at it instead - the bot connects with a full client handshake, not a status ping.

What each field tells you

Latency is how long the status lookup took from your browser - a rough network indicator, not your in-game ping to the server.

Players shows the current count out of the server's max slots. Some servers report this oddly on purpose - 2b2t, for example, caps its max at 1 - and a few hide or inflate the number.

Version is whatever the server advertises. Servers behind a proxy (Velocity, WynnProxy, Geyser) often show a custom label or a version range instead of one number.

MOTD is the message a server shows in your in-game server list, color codes and formatting included. The owner sets it, and it's purely cosmetic.
